LEGACY - Virtual EXHIBITION

WHY…

Because of the COVID19 outbreak, the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and its department of art and culture decided to release a virtual exhibition called Legacy. Legacy showcases the latest acquisitions displayed in their headquarters in Washington DC.

What is this...

Legacy is a digital exhibition showcasing more than 20 artworks of the IDB’s art collection. This experience is available in web and VR. The user is able to move around the gallery and visit piece by piece meanwhile he/she gathers data about the artists and the bank’s vision in multiple languages.

Legacy uses web technology to allow multiple users to visit the gallery at the same time and from multiple perspectives. On the other hand, the experience can be enjoyed from several devices because its content is responsive, always allowing to switch to VR mode if the user uses Oculus, Vive, or any other VR headset. The visit can be done in English or Spanish.
